1. Surah Fatiha (Al Hamd) starts with praise to Allah.

2.Surah Faitha is a dua (supplication) that Allah has granted to mankind 3. In this dua, a person pleads to Allah to show the straight path (Siratul Mustaqim).

4 The rest of the Quran follows as a reply to this dua

5. Afterwards, Allah gives human being the entire Quran as the guidance he asked for and as a description ofthe Siratul Mustaqim(Straight path)

6. There are more than one billion Muslims in the world. Each Muslim has to pray 2+4+ 4+3 +4 =17 times Farḍ or farīḍah or in Islam is a religious duty commanded by Allah . fard Salat each day. It means Surah Fatiha is read more than 17 billion times in a day. (In this count, I have not added Sunnah, Nafil and other prayers)
