Pakistan a meditator IN IRAN-ISRAEL WAR

MSQ NEWS Wed 8 th 2026  NOTE OF GRATITUDE This is a moment of pride for Pakistan; a true strategic and diplomatic success. I wrote many notes yesterday, but the situation was so fluid and the drama so intense that I held back on sending them. Believe me, the tension was at an all-time high. Pakistani leaders managed to de-escalate those 'ticking' moments just in time. This success demonstrates to Iran that, despite various pacts with Saudi Arabia and other nations, Pakistan at the request of its nation stands in solidarity with Iran. Long live the Pakistani and Iranian nations! THANKS

You recently delivered a remarkable khutba on Surah Shura at ISCJ. For my readers, could you explain the meaning of the word Shura and its core principles? Imam Hamad Ahmad Chebli: Wa Alaikum Assalam, Sadid. Shura means consultation, and it forms the foundation of Islamic governance and community decision-making. The Qur’an in Surah Ash-Shura (42:38) praises those who “conduct their affairs by mutual consultation.” In practice, it encourages collective decision-making. Leaders should seek advice from experts and the community, rather than acting alone. This ensures fairness, accountability, and decisions that serve the best interests of the ...

Sadid Quraishi   The root word "shukr" (شكر) and its derivatives appear 75 times in the Quran **, emphasizing gratitude to Allah and others. Forms like "shakir" (grateful) and "shakur" (most grateful) highlight its significance. Gratitude in Islam is expressed on three levels: Shukr b'l-qalb – Felt in the heart. Shukr bi'l-lisan – Expressed in words. Shukr bil-badan wal-arkan – Shown through actions. Thanks, Shukria , Shukran for reading my writing!
